When you arrive at ALCon, you can choose to wear a bandanna representing one of two teams - ninjas or pirates. During the weekend as people win competitions, points will be awarded to their team. At the end of the weekend the winning team will be announced.

Become a Pirate or Ninja!
When you turn up at Alcon, you will have the option of joining either the Pirates or Ninjas. You will then be given a bandana to wear to indicate what team you are on (red for ninjas, and white for pirates). Naturally, you will be welcome to draw on the bandana (ie: skull and crossbones for pirates if you wish, or a ninja symbol etc). Well drawn bandanas will earn your side extra points.
Help your side to Victory!
Wearing your bandana will make you officially represent your side and eligible to pick up points for it. Points will be awarded for winning contests, helping out, and so forth. At the end of each day we tally together the points and announce which side is in the lead. The winner will be announced in the Closing Ceremony on the Sunday.
The prize for winning? Alcon 2007's soul. For, Alcon in the year of 2007 will forever be known as a Pirate Convention, or a Ninja Convention. Which one will it have been?Want to read more?
